Join us on our training mission

We are looking for the next generation of trainers and assessors that are passionate about transforming our future industry into a better one – by empowering safer, more confident, experienced and job ready candidates.

‘On the Job Training’s’ mission is to create elite level industry professionals, by offering educational support resources designed to aid all learning styles, the most hands-on experience and smallest trainer to student ratio in the industry. Our crane fleet of 8 includes 2 towers and a selection of mobile cranes, forklifts, EWPs and more.

We need experienced professionals, not trainers

That’s why we are launching the ‘Train the Trainer’ program. We’re looking for experienced high risk (and civil) professionals looking for a change, who want to make a difference and give something back to the industry that’s served them and their careers. We’re looking for passionate individuals that want to pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation.

Train with us while getting paid

You’ll train ‘on the job’ with our industry leading trainers, so you’ll learn from the best and be employed while doing it. The program is designed by us and accredited by a partner RTO that provides TAE qualifications.

Secure permanent employment with us

Upon course completion, successful candidates will have the option to gain permanent employment with us. We’ll help build your confidence as an educator every step of the way…if you’ve ever managed work groups we believe that this is an ideal opportunity for you.

Tell us about you

All you need to do is send us a summary of your high risk or civil industry experience to date – doesn’t have to involve training but of course is a bonus.  Click on the button and fill in the short form to register your interest.

Introducing the ‘C6 Elite’ Mobile Crane Course

The Queensland Government only requires you to train on one of the many types of cranes you’re allowed to operate holding a Slewing Mobile Crane C6 Licence. For us, this inadequately prepares you as being ‘job ready’. We offer the ability to operate as many of 6 of these mobile cranes – check out our video with what some of students and trainers had to say about this industry leading course.

Meet King Duffy Our in house Franna Expert

The C6 slewing mobile crane licence also encompasses CN class non-slewing cranes. If you train exclusively on a 25t truck mount slew crane, are you ready to jump in the seat of a 14T franna non-slew crane? Our director Matt discusses the intricacies of a franna with King Duffy, our in house franna expert.
