Crane Cadet Program: Kickstart Your Crane Career! 👷♀️👷♂️
📢 Hey future crane experts! 🏗️
Have you ever looked up at those towering cranes and thought, “I could totally do that”? If you’re keen to get into the lifting game, we’ve got a prime opportunity for you with our Crane Cadet Program.
Here’s the deal:
In just 6 months, you’ll dive into the nitty-gritty of the crane world. From mastering dogging techniques to erecting hoists and structures, operating and rigging those mighty cranes, we’ve got it all laid out for you.
And this isn’t just classroom stuff; you’ll be hands-on teaming up with our seasoned trainers, learning day in day out in our industry leading yard, and even getting involved in crane maintenance.
What’s more, we’re going to get you out on actual construction sites on labour hire gigs. This is your shot at real-life experience, seeing the action up close and being part of it.
While short courses teach the basics, our longer program offers the in-depth training you need to really get good at the job. This way, you’re safer and more skilled before heading into high-risk work environments unsupervised.
The best part?
While you’re learning and gaining invaluable skills, you’re also earning. That’s right, a paid training opportunity!
And when it comes to course fees, don’t sweat it – we’ve got that covered.
The only thing we ask is that you have a current dogging licence as a minimum requirement before joining.
While it’s an ideal program for those toward the beginning of their careers, we encourage applicants of all ages who are eager to enter the lifting game to be considered (with a minimum age of 18).
What the program offers:
- Minimum 30+ hours per week with opportunities for overtime well in excess of this
- Relevant qualifications included as part of your job with no cost to you*
- Competitive hourly rates (based on previous experience or time in the program) from $25 – $40
- Job opportunities after the program for those who want it to further employment, labour hire or training
So, if you’re up for an adventure and ready to kickstart a fantastic career, let us know. Shoot us an application below with a bit about yourself and why you’re keen to join the lifting game. Or give Matt a call on 07 3807 6061.
And to the parents out there: We’re committed to giving young people a genuine shot at a rewarding career. Trust us, this is a golden opportunity. Let’s build their future, together! 🏗️
