About Our Founders
A Passion For Raising Industry Standards - From The Ground Up
On The Job Training was founded in 2015 by husband and wife team, Matt and Emma Nolan. In 2020, they expanded their commitment to quality education by acquiring IM Training Pty Ltd (RTO 70023) — a well-established Registered Training Organisation founded in 2005, which now serves as the parent company of On The Job Training.
Their motivation to launch On The Job Training stemmed from a deep dissatisfaction with the quality and relevance of high-risk work licensing and accredited training available in the industry. With a strong background as a crane operator and one of the most highly qualified assessors in the field, Matt Nolan knows firsthand how critical safety and competence are on the job site. He firmly believes that effective training and strong educational foundations are the keys to ensuring both.
Together, Matt and Emma bring a values-driven approach to vocational education — focused on real-world outcomes, safety, and lifelong career success.
