RTO Admin assistant

Our growing registered training organisation (RTO) would fall apart at the seams without the hard work and grit that goes on behind the scenes!

The backbone of our organisation, from enrolment to certification and beyond is our admin team. They are organised, patient and approachable. They look after the students and trainers to ensure that our mission for quality learning and outcomes is achieved. They contribute as much if not more to our 5 star reputation as the trainers themselves as often reflected in our reviews.

I hope this helps you to understand our level of expectation for joining the team and convinces you to want to be a part of it.

We are looking for a part or full time admin staff member to join our team in the near future (start date is flexible). The successful candidate must:

  • Be willing to sometimes ‘muck in’ and take on challenges outside their usual job role as a team player, such is the nature of working for a small business
  • Possess excellent customer service skills, with both students and clients alike
  • Comfortable with operating computers
  • Have some experience as an administrator

Experience working in an RTO is ideal but not essential. If you believe in our values and possess the above qualities and work ethic, then we want to hear from you!

Trainee Trainer / Assessor - HIGH RISK WORK

As educators we believe it’s our duty to develop the next generation of trainer/assessors, by inviting experienced high risk workers to join our team and work toward a TAE (TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment).

Your day to day role though will involve supporting the trainer/assessors, by operating the cranes, setting up dogging/rigging stations, earthmoving equipment and training students on the yard. You will pass on your work experience as the students do both the theory and practical based part of their training.

If you have experience in construction, mining or earth moving then that’d be ideal as this experience is most relevant to our students.  Must be willing to sometimes ‘muck in’ and take on challenges outside their usual job role as a team player, such is the nature of working for a small business. Pay is based on the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications in high risk work licences, confined space, working at heights, civil plant and earth moving held. They should expect a similar wage while they’re doing their TAE comparable to their usual earnings (within typical market rates).

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in then apply below or call us for a chat to find out more on 07 3807 6061.

Qualified Trainer / Assessor - high risk work

We are looking for a high risk work trainer / assessor to join our team in a full time capacity (start date is flexible).

To deliver training in line with our values requires having quality trainers, to pass on their knowledge and real life experience, in a way that’s engaging, memorable and relatable. It involves reinforcing student learning and utilising our vast array of resources made in house at their disposal.

The successful candidate must:
  • Be willing to sometimes ‘muck in’ and take on challenges outside their usual job role as a team player, such is the nature of working for a small business
  • Have extensive experience in working in a industry in a high risk work capacity such as (but not exclusive to) construction, mining, entertainment or offshore rigging
  • Be accredited to train and assess in Queensland, holding high risk work licence classes – particularly in mobile and tower crane operating, dogging, rigging or scaffolding among others
Having some experience with working with machine plant related to earthmoving would be handy, but not essential.  We are happy to up-skill the right candidate to add to their ticket portfolio.

Pay dependent on experience, licences held and accreditation status, with package up to $140k a year

Sound like you? Sounds interesting? If you have a TAE we’d love you to apply below or call us for a chat on 07 3807 6061.
