EWP Boom Type Over 11m Training (WP licence class), accessible to the Gold Coast & Brisbane

This handy EWP ticket (for operating an EWP boom length 11m or more) results in a high risk WP licence class used in the many sectors that require personnel to perform tasks from height on EWP’s.  This is different to the ‘RIIHAN301E – Operate Elevated Work Platform‘ which includes vertical scissor lift training, that students often partake in also as an expectation of some employers, site supervisors and safety officers.  Our training yard is at ‘On the Job Training’, located at Stapylton, halfway between the Gold Coast & Brisbane.

This elevated work platform licence course is designed to ensure that participants have the skills and knowledge required to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more) for licensing purposes, and involves the operation of a telescoping device, hinged device, or articulated device or any combination of these used to support a platform on which personnel, equipment and materials may be elevated to perform work.

This course will only allow you to operate one type of elevating work platform – a boom type with a boom length 11m or more. It will not prove your competence in EWP’s such as scissor lifts or boom lengths under 11m. Please check out our EWP training package which includes additional units that can be completed at the same time as this course via the button.

In order to obtain a licence, the candidate, after successful completion of the unit of competency, can choose to participate in the theoretical and practical assessments known as ‘National Assessment Instruments’ (NAI) held at the conclusion of each course at On the Job Training.
