Bigger and Better – On the Job Training 2.0

We’re thrilled to announce that we are opening ‘On the Job Training 2.0’, a bigger and better site for all high risk work and civil licence training in Stapylton (just off the M1), 20 mins north of our southern site at Helensvale.

This site is effectively double the size at 6000+ m², to allow for our expansion of course offerings of earth moving and civil tickets. There will also be 1500m² available for future opportunities or partnerships, zoned by the GCCC for educational use.

FAQ’s:

Why is the new location going to be the ideal choice for high risk work and civil licence training?

Namely, with our new scope of course offerings, increase of student placements, undercover training facility and new machinery; we simply need more room!

Secondly, we want to be able to better serve all our customers, many of whom come from Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast or the Darling Downs.

Thirdly, our current facility is restricting our opportunity for growth. With the help of our current clientele, we will be unshackled from the ties of landlords. In this location, we are able to plan long term and continue to invest in meeting our business goal of being the most educational, enjoyable and talked about place to hang out and up-skill.

What will happen to the Helensvale HRWL training site?

For now, we will continue operating as we are. However, the plan will be to switch our Stapylton location to our main operating site while scaling down Helensvale. We plan to always have a more southern Gold Coast base for our most popular courses though. We’ll also still train ‘on the job’ at customer sites too.

Introducing the ‘C6 Elite’ Mobile Crane Course

The Queensland Government only requires you to train on one of the many types of cranes you’re allowed to operate holding a Slewing Mobile Crane C6 Licence. For us, this inadequately prepares you as being ‘job ready’. We offer the ability to operate as many of 6 of these mobile cranes – check out our video with what some of students and trainers had to say about this industry leading course.

Meet King Duffy Our in house Franna Expert

The C6 slewing mobile crane licence also encompasses CN class non-slewing cranes. If you train exclusively on a 25t truck mount slew crane, are you ready to jump in the seat of a 14T franna non-slew crane? Our director Matt discusses the intricacies of a franna with King Duffy, our in house franna expert.
